Floral Workshop Terms & Conditions
Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before booking your place at the floral workshop. By making a booking, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms.
1. Booking & Payment
Your place at the workshop is confirmed once a deposit payment has been received. With the final balance due one month before the date of the workshop
Each booking is for the individual named on the booking and is not transferable unless agreed with us in advance.
Places are limited and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
2. Cancellations & Refunds
Due to the nature of the workshop, flowers, foliage and other materials are purchased and prepared specifically based on the number of confirmed bookings.
For this reason, workshop bookings are non-refundable once purchased, including if you subsequently decide that you are unable to attend.
If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to transfer your place to another person, provided you notify us in advance and provide their full name and contact details. The replacement attendee must be suitable for the workshop and must agree to these Terms & Conditions.
We are unable to offer refunds for non-attendance, late arrival or leaving the workshop early.
If we are able to fill your cancelled place with another participant, we may, at our discretion, offer a refund or partial refund. This is not guaranteed and will depend on the circumstances and whether the place can be resold.
3. Workshop Cancellation or Changes
We reserve the right to cancel, postpone or make reasonable changes to the workshop where circumstances outside of our reasonable control make this necessary.
If we have to cancel the workshop, you will be offered a suitable alternative date or a full refund.
We will not be responsible for any additional costs incurred by attendees as a result of a workshop cancellation, including travel, accommodation or other associated expenses.
4. Venue & Accommodation
The workshop is held at a hired venue. Accommodation is not included in the workshop booking and attendees are responsible for arranging and paying for their own accommodation where required.
Please check the location and travel arrangements before booking.
We are not responsible for any costs associated with travel, accommodation, parking or other personal arrangements.
5. Personal Belongings
Attendees are responsible for their own personal belongings throughout the workshop.
The workshop takes place within a wedding venue where other venue staff, suppliers, contractors and guests may be present. We cannot accept responsibility for any loss, theft or damage to personal belongings brought to the venue.
Please do not bring valuable or unnecessary items with you.
6. Arrival & Attendance
Please arrive at the time stated in your booking information so that the workshop can begin promptly.
If you arrive late, we cannot guarantee that the workshop can be delayed or that you will receive individual tuition covering anything you have missed.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have sufficient time to travel to and from the venue.
7. Workshop Activities & Safety
Floristry involves the use of scissors, secateurs, wire, floral mechanics and other equipment and materials.
Attendees are expected to follow all instructions given during the workshop and to use equipment responsibly.

8. Photography & Social Media
Photographs and videos may be taken during the workshop for promotional purposes, including use on social media and our website.
If you do not wish to appear in photographs or videos used for promotional purposes, please let us know before the workshop begins.
You are welcome to photograph your own work and share it on social media. We would love it if you tagged Emma Cox Floristry when doing so.
9. Workshop Content
Workshop content, demonstrations, techniques and teaching materials are provided for the personal use of attendees.
Workshop materials, demonstrations or teaching content may not be reproduced, copied, sold or used to teach your own workshops without prior written permission.
10. Floral Materials
Flowers and foliage are seasonal and subject to availability. While we will always aim to provide flowers and materials in line with the advertised workshop, specific varieties, colours or materials may occasionally need to be substituted due to availability.
Any substitutions will be made with the aim of maintaining the overall style, quality and experience of the workshop.
11. Responsibility
We will take reasonable care to provide a safe and enjoyable workshop experience. However, attendees participate in practical floristry activities at their own risk and are responsible for following safety instructions provided during the workshop.
